Recursive Compressed Sensing

چکیده
We introduce a recursive algorithm for performing compressed sensing on streaming data. The approach consists of a) recursive encoding, where we sample the input stream via overlapping windowing and make use of the previous measurement in obtaining the next one, and b) recursive decoding, where the signal estimate from the previous window is utilized in order to achieve faster convergence in an iterative optimization scheme applied to decode the new one. To remove estimation bias, a two-step estimation procedure is proposed comprising support set detection and signal amplitude estimation. Estimation accuracy is enhanced by a non-linear voting method and averaging estimates over multiple windows. We analyze the computational complexity and estimation error, and show that the normalized error variance asymptotically goes to zero for sublinear sparsity. Our simulation results show speed up of an order of magnitude over traditional CS, while obtaining significantly lower reconstruction error under mild conditions on the signal magnitudes and the noise level.

Bayesian Approach for Recursive Compressed Sensing
We consider the problem of recursively reconstructing a sequence of sparse signals using compressed sensing measurements. We assume that each consecutive signal vectors of the sparse signal sequence are partially overlapped. Our aim in this work is to propose an effective recursive method for the reconstruction of the sequence of signals based on Bayesian compressed sensing.
متن کاملEfficiently Decodable Compressed Sensing by List-Recoverable Codes and Recursion
We present two recursive techniques to construct compressed sensing schemes that can be “decoded" in sub-linear time. The first technique is based on the well studied code composition method called code concatenation where the “outer" code has strong list recoverability properties. This technique uses only one level of recursion and critically uses the power of list recovery. The second recursi...
متن کاملA Block-Wise random sampling approach: Compressed sensing problem
The focus of this paper is to consider the compressed sensing problem. It is stated that the compressed sensing theory, under certain conditions, helps relax the Nyquist sampling theory and takes smaller samples. One of the important tasks in this theory is to carefully design measurement matrix (sampling operator). Most existing methods in the literature attempt to optimize a randomly initiali...
متن کاملAccelerating Magnetic Resonance Imaging through Compressed Sensing Theory in the Direction space-k
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a noninvasive imaging method widely used in medical diagnosis. Data in MRI are obtained line-by-line within the K-space, where there are usually a great number of such lines. For this reason, magnetic resonance imaging is slow. MRI can be accelerated through several methods such as parallel imaging and compressed sensing, where a fraction of the K-space lines...
متن کاملFrames for compressed sensing using coherence
We give some new results on sparse signal recovery in the presence of noise, for weighted spaces. Traditionally, were used dictionaries that have the norm equal to 1, but, for random dictionaries this condition is rarely satised. Moreover, we give better estimations then the ones given recently by Cai, Wang and Xu.
